Outside pics of F-1 Polk County, Florida

Snakehead

Bite Me! It's ok
This one just shed and He looked so good I decided to take him outside for some pics. I am never satisfied with the way my camera captures the reds, but still I got a few decent pics. Thank goodness for cropping, lol.

Great photo's! Is is a hypo?

I'm so jealous of you guys in Florida, you can take photo's outside throughout the year whilst I can only do so about maybe two or three weeks a year :(

Great pics! What a beauty. I love the weather today. You're lucky you can grow citrus down there- it's just a little too cold where I am.

Thank You! We have had a few cold days here so far this year. However yesterday was in the 70's so I was able to take some sunny pics. That snake is not a true hypo. I am working with some locally caught Polk County corns that are really fun to work with. They are all from within ten miles from my house. They look hypo-ish but the F-1's are showing some very extreme reduction of black pigment however if you look closely you can still find some black specks. Here is one I really like.

I posted some others a while back if you want to look for the posts.

Thank Naci! It's iffy on the citrus. I lost a small tangerine tree, and had a wild lemon tree burn back to the root. It's growing back but I afraid if we get another cold winter it may freeze completely this year. I may have to try to protect it somehow.
