Overly Pregnant Mouse?

Hi I was wondering if anyone else has had this scenario. I have a female mouse who about 3 days ago got the 'look' anyone who has ever bred mice knows the look. Like when you expect to see babies in the morning. Where she is huge. Well she is still in this state. I mean she enormous. But I was expecting babies on Monday. It just seems like they are staying in there a little too long. Anyone else ever had this? She is asymptamatic....She isnt showing and signs or symptoms of anytime of distress. Eats drinks normal and everything??

I've seen mice do that before, they look huge for days and you begin to wonder if the poor thing is going to explode LOL. Most likely she is carrying a large litter.

I have quite a few breeding mice and one in particular always looks as if she is going to explode before she has her babies, she usually has about 18 at a time so it sounds like you will be expecting a fair few.

I bet every time we walk up to a mouse's cage, she looks up at us and thinks "Holy crap that's a big mouse! She oughta pop any day now!"

holy crap.....19 babies.....she had em all right. For over a week I was thinking any day now...any day. I got over 40 babies now.....anyone need some mice?? lol

Holy cow, poor thing lol, If I lived nearby I'd help you out with some of those babies, I need to buy some more F/T for until I get mine and they have some babies:headbang:

wow thats brilliant I have one looking the same at the moment I have taken her last litter out today and weaned them off so no doubt any day now she will drop her next litter, she is in with 2 other girls and they are all really good at sharing their litters.
