Pattern Morphs

Hey, I don't really understand how the pattern mutations work (motley, stripe, etc.). Are they just dominant? Are they any different from color mutations? I mean in the way you breed the trait out?

There are no dominant traits known in cornsnakes other than the wild-type. Everything else is recessive to the wild type except for bloodred, which is co-dominant. Some will say that motley is codominant to stripe at the motley locus, while others think that motley is dominant to stripe. But to answer the question, there are no across the board dominant traits.

There is no difference in how you breed them out.
