I have two snakes. A ball python and my corn. My ball is the calmest most docile snake iv ever seen. Now my corn on the other hand is like a grumpy old man. I can handle him for a while and hes fine but some days he is just strait up pissed off i bothered him. I always reach in with a glove and when i tidy up his tank a bit i put on a glove two because some days he will go out of his way to pounce at my hand. Does anyone have a snake with a personality like that. It doesnt bother me makes him more interesting.

It seems like some snakes are just flat out pissed off no matter what you do, or how much you handle them. There's a BP at work that will strike at me each and every time I open his vivarium. I've been working with him almost daily for weeks and he hasn't improved his personality haha.

Yup, some are just out-and-out grumps! My oldest used to be OK with handling (although he never actually liked it he would at least tolerate it without nipping) but over the years has become happy to "register a sharp complaint" when he really wants to be left alone.
