Corn snakes rule!

The normal is the mommy snake, and the silver queen ghost is the daddy snake! I can't wait to see the babies. It's been 45 days now in the incubator and I'm so anxious. I'm heading away for 4 days Thursday-Sunday this coming week so I'm going to be thinking of the eggs the whole time I'm gone at King's Island, haha...I know I will. The following Friday will be day 56 and that seems to be the day for a lot of snakies to hatch.... we will see what happens with the ones I have. I can't wait...woo woop.

Here are some of the eggs, day they were layed.

And here is the daddy snake, he's a handsome boy.

I'll keep you all updated on the progress of the hatching and all that when they start! Enjoy the pics.

They are both very pretty but I really like the colors that mom has. I look foward to the babies.

Thank you! Well, I'm back from my mini vacation and all seems to have gone very good while I was away for a few days. The eggs are going on day 52 starting on Tuesday so it's getting closer to the time for them to start hatching...I hope. They are all looking very good still so I am so happy about that. I'll keep you posted...
oh, I am kinda worried about the mommy snake though she's refused two of the last offerings of food and she is one of my better eaters that have never refused food before...I'm thinking maybe she's going to double clutch? I'm not sure but since she just shed her skin last Thursday I put in a nest box for her just in case. I did try to feel for some eggs and I think I can feel some but not 100% sure. She really doesn't have much weight on her since she laid her first clutch of eggs, and no I didn't put in a male snake with her since then. She was eating just fine for me up until she went in the blue stage and then shed her skin , she's refused. I'll keep a eye on her.
