If any of you have pictures of adult corns being held by someone (so you can see their size compared to a person...) I'd love to see some. My mom wants to know how large Torque actually will get, and well, length is hard to imagine, so she'd really like to see some pictures.

Thanks!

Is Torque a male or female?

When people say, oh, corns can reach up to (say) five feet, it sounds big, but you'd be surprised. They certainly don't seem as long as 'five feet' may sound.
I have a male (who also happens to be a runt) who is an adult and probably a little under four feet long. Everyone thinks that he must be huge (and therefore evil and whatnot), but they're always shocked when they see him. He's fairly small, especially for his particular species and gender, and he's the sweetest thing you've ever seen.

I'll post a picture as soon as I get a hold of one. -glares at dead camera- :shrugs:

I dunno about Torque (is that the one the guy on the first page is holding?).

Mine is the one on the second page (Cyril - 14 year old male). He's by far and away the biggest of my five adults but he's also the most docile. He's led a contented life which I figure has left me with a nice, mellow, contented snake. :)

Spot's Mom has a (we believe) male amel that's about 10 years old or so...and he exceeds 5 feet, but has the most docile personality! He's the one who rid me of my reptile fears. What can I say...it bothered me that an animal was as afraid of me as I was of it! Spot may be big, but he's an easy keeper...he's a lap and shoulder "baby." Hopefully, she's got a pic of him with someone from school-OTHER than me!
