I WAS THERE TO!! I also got a new snake..I posted about him in the basic care area of the forum..I'm hoping people put in some votes to name the little guy...I got an anery male!! yay!!! my fav. type!!! I wish I had known that people from this site were going..I went alone and was pretty lonely there...if anyone saw a girl carrying 2 hand bags was wearing a red shirt and black pants with glasses...that was me..heh...

yeah I was there too.. I saw a few things but not what I was looking for. They did have a lot, and I mean a lot of baby ball pythons for like $15 bucks & up. Was very very very tempting.

I know.. I was just amazed by how many there were. They had quite a few tables with hots too.. some of those hots were amazing looking though... the gabon viper was incredible. I was tempted to get a ball, but I want one 100% het for pied. they had a few there, but I wasn't ready to shell out 150 bucks for one of them right now. I was a bit disappointed at how small the place was and yet so crowded. But all in all, not a bad time.

I can't wait too see pictures of your new snake after he's settled in. It's not the one that Rick Krumrine had is it...the one with the aberrant pattern? That one was really neat looking.

I was very tempted by a female striped baby ball for $75 (I think) over against the right side of the building. She was so pretty. And really tiny, I didn't realize they start out that small!

That crowd wasn't actually that bad compared to some of the Hamburg shows. They do seem to be making an effort to rearrange tables so that there is a little more breathing room.

I saw a few nice looking striped balls, and was tempted to pick up a normal for $15, but was more determined to find that specific female corn (didn't find her :( but I'll keep looking).
really? It was my first time at the hamburg show. I've only gone to the show in White plains NY. Hubby said that the hamburg show had more of a variety then white plains, which surprised and impressed him, but way too many people packed into the building for him (he has crowd phobia.. its different from claustrophobia). It was hard for me to judge between the two because I was sort of torn between looking at everything and trying not to run people over with the stroller that my 19 month old was sitting in. He thought grabbing at deli cups was fun, so I had my hands full with him. :D I intend to go again, either in June or August, and this time I may just leave my youngest with friends for the day. He's the reason I also didn't get any pictures. next time.

Hey I was there to last weekend!

Yeh, that wasn't REALLY crowded for a Hamburg show. Take that show, add about 20% more people, make it on an August Saturday with about 85-degrees temps outside (150-degrees inside), THEN you have a killer day there.

Speaking of the Balls for $15.00, my son bought one from "Outback Reptile" there last August for like $20.00. He's had REALLY good luck with it so far, good eater, nice growth, temperment, etc... "Outback Reptiles" was along the wall on the bleacher side of the building. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Speaking of Rick Krumrine, my son bought this Striped Motley Anery Corn Snake at the Hamburg Show back in February ('07). He has some really nice specimens:

Me too, I have never had a problem with any of the animals I have purchased from them.

Nice! Every once in awhile he has something that catches my eye. Did you see the male lavender he had at the show last weekend for $100? He was so pretty, and I was SO tempted to buy him! Last fall I bought this little candy cane from him.

No, I didn't see the lavender he had Traci.

Your candy cane is real nice though!
