I hope you don't plan on brumating the boids the same way as colubrids, you cannot brumate them by keeping them cool all the time. They need to be cycled, still maintaining their daytime temperatures or else you will end up with sick boids! Plus you will miss folicies building and ovulation....
 
Its also not cool to brumate monitors as they are all from tropical zones, they don't have a proper winter. The savanna complex(includes white/black-throats, Niles, Bosc, and I believe Yemen monitors), can aestivate but they only do so in the wild when conditions get so bad that even these super-hardy lizards can't manage to survive. You have to keep their temps up and keep them fed year-round for optimum health.

hi elle dont worry boas are only getin daylight photoperiod drop so same temps just shorter time enjoyin it lol and dreq thanks for that on the bosc i never new that but my bosc and trinket and burm arnt being brumated i jus said id throw them in here instead of starting new thread i went snap happy last nite :) :) :cheers:
