Aren't ultra-anery and ultramel-anery the same?

Nope. Amel and ultra can be seperate or found at the same locus. So a snake can be homo for ultra without having any amel genes at all

I knew about the codominant trait Ultramel.
But what's the difference between an Ultra-anery and Ultramel-anery
Ultramel-anery : Pale grey with ruby eyes
then a ultra-anery would be a pale grey anery (with no ruby eyes)

:shrugs:I don't know what they'd look like, I'm guessing an ultra/anery would look a bit like a ghost, an ultramel/anery a bit like a coral snow?

I guess the ultra-anery would look like a pale ghost.

Nice, but it just looks like a ghost then!

From the few I have seen in person, including the one we raised, they really don't look much like a ghost. Similar, in a way, but I can put all four of our ghosts next to the ultramel anery (or possible ultra anery, we have to prove that out - until then we suspect ultramel due to the siblings we have of her) and you can easily pick out the differences between the ghosts and the ultramel anery.

Ultramels can vary drastically from animal to animal with colour.. Seen them from when they look almost amel to almost normal looking, I am pretty sure the varience in the anery side is pretty well the same thing.. Some lighter, and some really dark.. Most people tend to think the happy medium look, and feel they should always look one certain way colour wise..

I would not mind to try and get a picture of the ultramel anery with the ghosts and what not, but they are out for the count as we speak..
* brumation * and I try really hard to resist bugging them at this time of the year... Of course, I still feel the animals need to be seen first hand to be appreciated, instead of getting trampled on because people feel they are worthless because some of the lines may have came from hybrids..
