Got everyone out for some pictures yesterday. For once no one was in blue! Most are '08's along with 1 '06.

First my Okeetees:
Lancelot (from Lee Abbott)

and Guinevere (from SMR)

Then my boyfriend's anery motleys (both from Lee Abbott):
Arthur

and Molly

And his blizzard (SMR):
Pinky

This guy is a monster. He's never turned down a meal and is already almost 50g. He's also the most active of our snakes and watching him constrict when he eats is quite impressive, even if the mice are already dead.

And finally Rosalind, and '06, sold to us as a pewter, though opinion last time I posted pics was that she may be a granite. She's pretty dark for these photos and should be blue any day now.

And a bonus, this little guy (still unnamed) was a nonfeeder that a friend passed on to me. I got him feeding and found him a home. Right now I'm watching him for the winter break until his new owner gets moved to her new place.

Nice!
Lancelot is great.
The aneries look so similar at first I thought it was a mistake, do they really look alike?

I love the first okeetee..very beautiful..
congrats..
they are all beauties tho..I just favor normals..lol:wavey:

I wouldn't rule out Pewter without breeding trials. Pewters can be pretty dark, and there's less of a chance for them to be streaked with yellow sides. Your girl looks pretty clean. Something about her looks more Pewter to me than Granite. Either way, she's beautiful!

The only way I can tell them apart is the heads. Molly has one dot and her head pattern looks like a dagger. Arthur has two dots on his head and no dagger. I took pics of them in their deli cups with the stickers and their heads both visible before I let my boyfriend take them out to put them in cages after we brought them home from Daytona. I knew I would get them confused otherwise.

Jessicat:
Rosalind has lighter eyes than are normally seen with anery b, and she was purchased at a pet shop so her heritage is rather uncertain. When Pinky is large enough we will be using him to prove her out (so breeding season of 2010 probably). I agree she has very little yellow for a granite and looks more like a pewter to me too, but I've seen a few pics of low-yellow granites who look a lot like her.
