Pinkies too small

Hey guys, so I'm not sure if Mars is getting a full meal when I feed him a pinkie, his lump would disappear after about 10-12 hours. I feel that he's not having enough to eat. I've tried to move up to furries but they're too big. So my question is, would it be alright to feed him two pinkies? Is that healthy? any suggestions would be helpful. Oh and also, how long can you keep frozen mice frozen before they go bad?

Usually you can buy pinkies in various sizes, from day old to 4 or 5 day old. Check with your supplier to see if they carry a varied size range. It's hard to say if your snake is ready for double pinks without knowing its weight and size. Pinkies don't take very long to break down in a snakes digestive tract, and usually that lump isn't as easily visable as it was on feeding day.

Great! Thanks for the info, I also just stumbled upon the Munson plan, all I need now is a scale...I still curious about when frozen mice go bad though.

That will vary greatly depending on your individual circumstances.

What do you consider "gone bad"?
Do you have a vacuum sealer?
Do you have a really cold freezer?

What I mean by "gone bad" is when the snake is not suppose to eat it because bad bacteria took it over. Its not vacuum sealed, they're in a ziplock bag in a freezer that I believe is pretty cold. The reason I asked is because I bought fuzzies that were to big for him to eat and I wanted to know how long I can keep them before I have to throw them away.
