Placement of Humidity Gage?

Where do i put my humidity gage? I put it on the center upper part of the back of my terrarium. The light is on top of the terrarium to the left of the gage and the large water bowl is to the right of it on the floor. Is this ok?

I also wanted to make sure that the right humidity is between 40-60%

P.S. Kiara shed for me for the frist time today and it all came off in one piece. The humidity is reading about 42%

The placement should be ok. And 40-60% is also good, if he/she sheds ok then you really don't have to worry to much about it at all. ;)
