Plants..

chuck1289

I'm Old Greggggggg
I'm going to get some plants for my snakes viv and i was thinking should i get a plastic plant or some real plants?

If there is some plants i can use what plants are ok for snakes? Ones that i can put in her viv.

Charlie.

I use plastic and silk plants (a mixture means more textures for the snake to feel = environmental enrichment). Real plants might look nice to start with, but once that snake starts digging round in the soil I imagine they'd die quite quickly!

Real plants would also necessarily increase humidity quite a bit too, you'd need to be aware of that.

If you look at reptile supplies, you will find some fake plants are "silk", and some are "plastic" :) Simple as that!
