So a while back 93 days ago to be exact I came home to find my wifes snakes laying eggs and you all helped me fumble bumble stumble my way thru getting them in some sort of incubator.

HOLY SMOKES it worked. I have eggs pipping one of which started yesterday is already out and in the corner next to his egg. She said they'd be a day or 2 with their eggs yolk and such but no. And HEY she's not here again :headbang: So do I set all the eggs that are pipping into a terrarium now or wait till they come out or what? One of them is just peaking out of it's egg but I'm a little worried about that one, has a blue eye. What do I do now? I really just want them to be ok now!

I personally move each hatchling to it's own seperate tub, once it has left the egg and is moving around.

I've heard lots of members say that they leave their babies in the incubation box, as long as you have air holes in it, until after they have had their first shed.

So either way would be fine, just leave the eggs where they are, have at least a couple of tiny ventilation holes in the container and then it's up to you if you leave them till they shed or move them once they exit.

Good luck and have fun!

PS, I bet the wife is ticked she's not there to see them hatching :uhoh:

As long as the lid top the container is tight and you have some tiny air holes, you can leave the hatchlings in the incubation container until the wife's return. Otherwise, setting them up in their own little container would be the way to go. Pint-size deli cups or the inexpensive generic sandwich-size containers are great for new hatchlings. Little plastic 2oz portion cups make great water dishes and plain white paper towels for a liner.
