Yes...it works. Use a 16oz soda bottle or a 1 liter for smaller snakes. Same principle, just adjust for size.

You can also use 3M painter's tape. Low tack tape with low adhesion. Place it on the floor sticky side up along the wall. Use mineral oil or Baby Oil to remove the tape and excess adhesive.

You can also crinkle newspaper on the floor after everyone goes to bed and listen for the sounds iof a snake crawling across it.

You can also put flour on the floor across doorways to get an ideaiof where it is traveling.

Search these forums. The tips and tricks offered have ALL worked...

we do not have bottles small enough in england for that idea so i take it that the rat catch glue thing is not a good idea

They work gerat...if you want to find a dead snake.

The size of the bottle is inconsequential. A 2 litre bottle will catch a small snake. Promise...

but how does it trap the snake if it can still get out after eating. see ive only owned the snake for 6 weeks so im still learning as i go along

If you make the bottle the right way.. the snake will make it in the bottle.. But will not know how to get back out. All of my snakes seem to go around the edge of their enclosures to try to get out. So, your snake should not be able to find the hole to get back out.
