Why do snakes like pooing in water?

Suzy can go ages in his viv without going (perhaps doesn't want to '**** on his doorstep)' - when you hold him, and he relazes he may poo.

But - give him a bath (like I just did as he's about to shed), he'll swim around, get his ass out, the poo.

Never does it in his bowl though.

Why do snakes do this?
