now i guess this is kinda wierd, im jst wonderin whether any of you guys have had similar experience lol. my snake has this strange habit, of always pooping on the same half log hide. i have tried taking it out, and leaving it for a week, and he will poop elsewhere in the tank. Once i put it in, giv him a day or 2 and once agen he will of done his business on it lol. any ideas how is best to clean it?

Well atleast your luck enough to have your snake poop in the viv. Mine have grown fond to pooping as soon as you pick them up. Not to mention on Command :) . As far as cleaning it well you could try scrubbing it off but wooden things are difficult maybe something plastic or a paper towel tube to replace it with since he has a dirty habbit. I've only had my corn for about 3 months now, I feed it every friday and leave it alone for the weekend and monday afternoon I always find his poop floating around his water bowl :grin01: and he dosen't seem to wanna go anywhere else (except once on the carpet when my g/f was playin with him) and I usually go through his viv really good ever time I feed him, seeing as I feed him in a diffrent container anywayz, but I've never found it anywhere else.

at first I thought it was gross, but I always get it right away (in fact, I often catch him just fleeing the seen :rolleyes: ) but it's not so bad, I just dump the whole water bowl in the toilet and sterialize it and put it back.

the honest reason that the snake is pooping on your hide is b/c you bought it. They do that. they find the most expensive decoration in there and let it go. Get you a hide made out of a papertowel roll or something along the sort and it's safe.
 
lol, well he's also decided that now he only poops in 2 places. his container that i feed him in, AS soon as i put him in it, and also on that very same log. lol
