Great diffusion there! The deepest red bloods are great too, but that snake could combine well to make diffused/caramel, or with amber or butter, because it is so yellow?

He's very pretty, he just doesn't look like a bloodred. Although he obviously is, going by his baby pic. More like a blood orange! (hehehe) What does his belly look like??

I'd personally call him a Diffused. That is very odd that he looked like a very promising baby, white head and all. What were his parents? Bloods or Granites, or some combination? I ask about the Granite, because I have a pair of bloods produced from a Blood X Granite crossing, and the male took a very long time to develop. Although is diffusion is great, at just about a year old now he's finally starting to get some color. He's no where NEAR the deep red perfection of his sister though. :shrugs:

Personally I think his color is great- albeit maybe not what you look for in a bloodred typically.

Actual bloodred's belly ... .. ..

Did Hk's pet shop get them from Simon? (assuming you are talking about Simon Fung).

No, I guess the pet shop purchase those hatchling babies from show in USA and look likes purchase in group sale.

Simon only breed RCC & ORR, but next year maybe have Fire/Gold Dust .... I'm not sure, he busy in his business always (not busy in cornsnake).

Hrm, well to me the explanation that makes sense the most is that it is an outcrossed blood. Perhaps someone was trying to get some new blood in their lines.
