Progression thread for Mikasi (Aztec) & Macawi, Miami's from LBR

I liked these two the first time I checked out the Aztec pairing, of Carol's, but picked two others, partiially because these two were listed as live feeders & I didn't have experience with live feeders before.

When I won Carol's auction on the Granite's, I decided to add two more Miami's, & decided to get these two. I love this clutch, & would take all of them, if I could.
Right after I picked these two, Macawi ate f/t for Carol, so I knew there was hope.

I offered them food last night, along with the rest of my kids. They both ate, & it wasn't until this morning, that it dawned on me that Mikasi, the Aztec male, who had been a live feeder, ate his f/t! Woohoo!

I am going to enjoy watching these babies grow up.

Well, Mikasi, the Aztec male, refused last night (early this morning), but he looks to be turning opaque, so I figured that was the reason.

I love little Mikasi! I saw him in Carol's add and drooled over him for awhile, even though he was labeled as live feeding only. Glad he's getting on track for ya! I want to see pictures of him plump and happy and 200g! :dancer:

Thanks! I was hesitant because of the live feeder thing too, but both he & Macawi took to f/t immediately.

I've had these two for 2 months now, & they're great eaters (aside from an occational refusal while in shed).
I love how they're progressing.

They were sold to me as live feeders, & I have only had to offer live once. They seem to have transitioned to f/t quite well.

The pics are a bit more red than real life....it's my camera & the lighting.
