I hatched a clutch of 22 eggs last August. All but two ate well right after first shed. Those two non-eaters prowl continuously and seem unable to pay enough attention to F/T or live pinks in all sorts of situations with all sorts of flavors. By now, I have placed all but 4 healthy ones and the two non-eaters. With the encouragement of an experienced friend I have been force feeding the non-eaters so I have had a lot of time to observe them as well as their siblings. While they are a little smaller, the non-eaters are much more active. They climb up anything in their cages and prowl continuously while all the others simply cuddle in their hides near the heat. It seems that others have seen this sort of relationship between behavior and eating. Is it common? Is it genetic? Will they grow out of it?
Thanks,
Ben
