This is going to sound silly of me...

well, if kings and such will eat corns, etc...
how is it that you can get them to breed without eating the other snake???

I seriously can't see someone holding a snakes head while he does... ummm.... the JOB! LOL

:shrugs:

very carefully and with great skill... One word: TIMING :grin01:

Well, sometimes if you want it to happen... :shrugs: If you use a baiter (that is, a female corn in season) to get the male corn excited, and then switch with the female king, 9 times out of 10 the male really won't care (or notice) as long as there is another snake to take his "frustration" out on. I did have to hold the females in both cases. This is just how I did it. I'm not sure how successful it would be with a female corn and a male king, but I imagine its been done.
