Question About Posting Pics

Ok, I know in the era of computers and digital cameras I should feel really stupid for having to ask this question but, here goes...

I want to post pics of my snake for everyone to see but, I don't know how to do it.. My husband is the computer person and he is out of town on business. I thought I could figure it out. NOT gonna happen. iIhave lots of pics saved on my computer but don't know how to get them on a thread...ANY help would be great

There are many ways to post a pic.

First, when you are creating a post, there is a "Manage Attachment" button near the bottom of the page. If you click on that, you then just have to browse your computer and finding the pics you want to post. I think they have to be a certain size to do this.

You can also use a service like Photobucket. Then just copy the IMG code and insert it in your post. This is what I use. It is very easy.

Can't get it to work

For some reason I can't get my pics posted. I have my pics in my new photobucket account but can't get my pics to post in my thread. I will try again tomm.

Sorry, if my husband was here he would have them up in no time
 
okay after you have your pics on your photobucket account you should see like 3 or 4 different boxes beneath the pic each with a different code...your going to want to copy the code in the last box..I think it would be titled "IMG code" or something like that..well right click, select all, then right click and copy..then come to this site and go to the photo gallery area, start a post, now right above the box where you write your message you shoulde see the various edit options..ya want to click on the yellow square that looks a little like a stamp..a box is going to pop up and ask you to paste your image..just delete the "http" that's already in the box and then just click "Ctrl and V"...it will paste the code you had copied on photo bucket..then click okay and write a little message above or below where the code pasted..do not put the message right after the cod or that could mess it up..go to the end of the line where the code ends and then press enter like once or twice so that the code has some space..then post your message and let people see your pic :0)
