question on vegetation in the tank?

Im sure this question has been asked a million times, but i was wondering if any live plants are okay to put in the tank. I was at the pet store getting pinkys and saw "pet grass" im pretty sure its for dogs, but if i wanted to put that in a few places in the tank would it harm my corn snake? Also what other types of stuff is okay to use. Pictures are a plus!

I tried potted plants and gave up. The dirt they were in got everywhere and turned to mud - grubby Corns! The Corns climbed all over the plants and squashed them. Plus plants need UV to stay alive, so you need two sets of whatever goes in the tank so you can swap them around.

Philippe de Vosjoli has written a great book on naturalistic vivariums, but they take a lot of work to set up. Pretty much self-contained and self-regulating ecosystems once established though.

Yes, it has been tried and has worked to a degree but I can remember where that info is. Maybe someone can chime in but try google it too.

But over all, I think it it wasn't worth the hassel.
