Hi, I have a question about my baby corn. He/She just shed for me for the first time today and I'm wondering how soon after a shed can you handle your snake? Thanks in advance for any advice.:D

Hi, im a bit confused... What type of bedding must i use for my snake and What type of climbing furniture do they normally like?? Thanx!!

Aspen shavings. Babies like those six-foot long wirey vines. I scrunch them up to fit in the viv. Adults like bigger branches. I have a couple that like reptile hammocks.

Aspen and it doesn't matter.

Side note. You should probably have started a new thread instead of tacking this on the end of someone elses thread.

You pick the subsection such as Photo Gallery, and then up in the left corner somewhere there is an icon for New Thread.

re handling:

I was told by several people that a snake is very sensitive to touch right after shedding, and it is a good idea to wait at least 8 hours after the shedding before handling the snake.
