Question..

I've a bit of a question/concern regarding getting frozen feeders for my snake when I acquire one.

I'm only interested in getting one snake to start with, and can't guarantee when/if I'll be getting another one.

I've contacted the Petsmarts, Petcos and local petshops around the area, and none of them seem to sell frozen feeders. I've checked other online sources (Craigslist, etc) but to no avail. I've also checked the big companies (TMF, RodentPro, etc) and I'm still iffy about paying that much to feed only one snake, shipping is a killer.

In the end would it be better to just buy the smallest amount possible and hope it doesn't go to waste? But then again, I'd rather buy once and have too much, rather than buy once and need say.. five more to finish off that particular size, in example. I'm still not sure of how to go about this, since I'm only getting one snake for now.

Once again, thanks for the information! Greatly appreciated. =)

See if you can split an order with someone in Indiana with more snakes, or see if you can go to an expo & buy what you need. Or...

GET MORE SNAKES!

and order from the big companies.

Thats really odd that PetSmart said they dont have frozen feeders. I would go and look anyways. They are usually kept in a freezer in the fish section of the store.
