questions about incubators

I have a few questions for who ever might know. Last year we had an incubator. We housed 19 eggs and they all turned out perfect and all hatched. This year we have the same incubator but nothing seems to be right. I will list how the incubator is made.

10 gallon tank
two blocks with water up to about the blocks.
a tupperwear container with the eggs inside (sitting on the blocks
Some holes in the top of the container.
Seran Wrap taped on top of the tank
Heather in the water also

We did all of this last year. THIS year it's too wet inside and some of the eggs are molding. We tried different temperatures. Someone told us to add more holes but that did not solve the problem. My question is what to do. I was reading some other threads and one said that some people prefer no holes in the lid and that they just open it once a week. If I do this...Should I put the eggs in non wet stuff? (I say wet stuff because I don't know the name of the stuff. It's dark brown) I just need help to save my 47 eggs!!! Thanks so much:)
