Quick "poop" Question

BLKsteeda

Elmo & Molly's Daddy
Just a quick question...is a grey chunky poop normal...it's something we haven't seen before. Normally it's a dark brown with white and very liquidy.

Thanks

A qualifying question.... have you recently changed the feeder size, e.g., bumped up from fuzzies to hoppers, or hoppers to adults?

regards,
jazz

No, we havent changed anything.

Thanks,
(The mommy)

Actually, that sounds pretty normal to me.
If you're really concerned, just keep checking on your snake whenever it "does it's business", that way you can see if you notice anymore chances or if it remains the same.

My Poop Knowledge

Are you feeding white mice?? Sometimes the hair that isn't digested comes out with the poop in a compacted lump. I got a little upset the first time I saw it, and immediately grabbed a pair of gloves and looked a little closer. :eek1: It was a clump of hair (kind of like what a cat coughs up), and perfectly normal.

Snake "poop" is variable, sometimes more solid than liquidy. Actually sounds normal to me, but if you are ever concerned about it, post a pic of it and we can help assess the situation
