I lifted the hide (the one on the cool side) and found my snake coiled up as usual, but she had her head underneath part of her body. I couldn't see her breathing and I thought she was dead! I lightly touched her body and she didn't move - I was so scared! I touched her again and she moved. What a relief! Do snakes usually bury their heads under their coils like that? Should I be worried that she was so unresponsive to my touch? She is usually very skittish when I touch her.
