Raid spray/moving snake

Okay so it's the start of spring and I want to spray some raid in my room 'cause I have a lovely painful spider bite that I think I got in my sleep and don't want to get another one. Being in the top attic like floor I think my room is a bit prone to spiders.
The only issue is, is my snake is in my room with me. I have a separate container that I use for feeding it's kinda small though, I don't really know how to explain it, when I got it it was called a "critter container" I'd say it's like a foot by a half a foot.
Do you think if I sprayed my room and left him in that in another room for two days or so for the smell to air out (might even take just a day) he'd be okay?
I'd move his actual tank but it's a 35 gallon, and that would be a pain especially with my curvy staircase.
I said maybe just putting a sheet over his tank would be enough, but my mom didn't think so. My snake is like under a foot and a half long, not to big and the little tank that I have is the same kind they had him in at the pet store.
Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question I'm new to being a snake owner.

Are you simply spraying the perimeter or are you setting off a bomb? In either case, moving your snake to another room for a few days is best, and make sure his viv and everything in it is thoroughly cleaned before you put him back in it.

That's a good idea, I didn't think to clean all of it out before putting him back, but I guess it can absorbe the spray.
I'm not using a bomb, I know you need to take animals out for that for sure.
Thanks for pointing that out cause I wasn't going to do that.
And using the small feeding container is okay? He'll only be in it like a day.

I have relocated my snakes a few times in smaller containers, none of mine minded but I put in substrate and usually a crumpled up section of newspaper for them to hide in (or something similar for a hide). Just be sure that there are breathing holes! :)
