Random Tarantulas

The big spiders are all that is left, and I'd hate to give them away. They are all absolutely awesome eight-leggers, and are quite beautiful too! Most are handleable, and I handle them about 1-2 times per week. Some should be left alone, and some are a bit flighty but for the most part they are dears.

Shipping depends entirely on where you are located, and the method of shipping is up to you. I can ship UPS or FedEx Next day or 2 Day. There is a live arrival guarantee is shipped Next day. All are mite free and are readily eating anything that moves. Feel free to ask any question :)

Round about, how much are you asking for these guys..? I've not a clue what spiders go for...

I depends entirely on the specific tarantula you want. I will by no means let my adult female GBB or boehmei go for $20, but I am also flexible. Make me an offer :)

Well here is the thing. I have always been really, really scared of spiders. Even the little ones that get in the house. But it's the only animal I am afraid of, and I feel like it isn't a really valid fear. Because soooo many people fear snakes, and I love them to death and they aren't harmful in the least (most, that is)

So I was fearfully looking through your tarantulas thinking, this is absurd. Maybe I should face this fear. If I got one (a REALLY nice one) , faced my fear, maybe it would help me realize that it is unneccessary to be so fearful. So I noticed you have one that you said is the nicest spider ever... how much is she apx? Also is the one with orange knuckles nice? I don't know. You would know better than me.

And maybe you don't want them going to someone who is fearful. I know they are your babies. Anyway let me know...

This was how I started out with them as well. I've always had a morbid fascination with Tarantulas for as long as I can remember, but had a slight phobia of them as well. When I was 14, I got my first; an adult male angry Choco Golden Knee named Jack. I was obsessed with him. I would sit in front of his cage and gaze at him for hours. I think it actually took me 4 months to finally take him out. It was a bit scary, but went without incident. After a few sessions, he finally bit me which honestly wasn't so bad. My fascination with spiders overwhelmed my fear of getting nailed. That was the start, and now I'm obssessed with them even more :D

My advice, go with a slower moving Tarantula. The female G.rosea or the male A.geniculata would be great to start with. The B.boehmei is a dear, but she can be a tad tempermental at times. If I had to pick the best out of the group for a beginner, it would definitely be Flora (the female G.rosea). As pretty as she may be, do NOT get lured in by the OBT. She is not a beginner spider.

I'm not concerned about pretty; I want one that will not scare me. lol
I think I will go with the Chilean Rosehair, Flora =)

Taking offers on the group (or on separate purchases). I love these guys, but they have to go... and soon.

Are any others of these "beginner spiders"? It doesn't look like it, but I might take another if it has the slow sweet temperament.

Beautiful spiders! I would love to own one, but am still a little scared of them, lol. Maybe one day i will conquer my fears! :)

The one I got is a sweet heart, I was afraid too, but Flora is such a sweetie. You should face your fears ;)
