14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1st Corinthians 2:14

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE COMPASSIONATE THE MERCIFUL
Praise be to Allah, Lord of Creation, The Compassionate, the Merciful, King of Judgment-day! You alone we worship, and to You alone we pray for help.

Guide us to the straight path, The path of those whom You have favoured, Not of those who have incurred Your wrath, Nor of those who have gone astray.

I was reading the DIE thread. I don't know if it has anything to do with God's will, but I feel like getting my little survivor out right now and cuddling her.

I have, in the past, prayed for mercy, for God to spare the life of an animal. My prayer, about Dillbird, was answered. Among others I think, all in all, it's okay to talk to God, to say, please let my eggs hatch, my babies eat, but one shouldn't ask for _some_ things too often. Because you may get what you prayed for.

Because * the carnal mind is nenmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, oneither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

"You sit there and you thump your bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16 ... Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your butt!" - Stone Cold Steve Austin

(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that bthe purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of chim that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, dThe * elder shall serve the * younger. 13 As it is written, eJacob have I loved, but Esau have I fhated.

14 What shall we say then? gIs there unrighteousness with God? hGod forbid. 15

Romans 9 Ohh yeah

"Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear. "

"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between church and State."

"To talk of immaterial existences is to talk of nothings. To say that the human soul, angels, god, are immaterial, is to say they are nothings, or that there is no god, no angels, no soul. I cannot reason otherwise: but I believe I am supported in my creed of materialism by Locke, Tracy, and Stewart. At what age of the Christian church this heresy of immaterialism, this masked atheism, crept in, I do not know. But heresy it certainly is."

"And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter."

"It is between fifty and sixty years since I read the Apocalypse, and I then considered it merely the ravings of a maniac, no more worthy, nor capable of explanation than the incoherences of our own nightly dreams.... what has no meaning admits no explanation."

-Thomas Jefferson

Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths
