put some of its usual food on a heat mat (in the room you lost it in) in a birdcage or a mineral water bottle. The idea is is that your snake will enter the trap, eat and not be able to fit back out the opening. Check warm, dark areas of your house (behind the fridge etc). I've also heard of people putting down flour or plastic bags round the edges of the room so that the snake leaves a trace or you can hear it rustling...not very handy if your arent in the room though! Hope you find your snake!
