A cornsnake who was bought from me got suddenly this bad-looking blister near to cloac:

Is it rectal prolapse or what? I have never heard that corn snake could have one, so that's why I'm quite confused. If it is prolapse, how it should be taken care of? The snake, one year old female, is now isolated as sterile condition as it could be.

I'd keep her on wet paper towels. You're probably going to need a vet to fix it. I've heard a strong sugar water solution, or paste, might help reduce it.

That's a prolapse. I can't tell from the picture what internal structure exactly is prolapsed. making a paste with a lot of sugar & a little water can reduce swelling & help the prolapse go back inside, otherwise, your gal needs a vet, and soon!

Thanks for advice. The snake's owner is going to bring the animal to vet as soon as she can, it's Saturday night at the time in Finland so we have to wait until Monday morning. :/

I would definitely get her on a sugar paste then. She looks quite healthy and pretty; hopefully it gets fixed with no problems. :D
