Red eyed vision??

I know snakes can't see colour too well, but is the vision of a snake with red eyes more impaired or can they see just as well as snakes with black eyes?

I guess we're talking mainly about Snows here, as pink eyes would indicate no black or red pigment?

I have two Snows and I can't say I've noticed them having any difficulty finding their way about the vivs or to their food, compared to my normals, amels etc.

On the other hand, latest thinking is that UV detection is more important than sight to a Corn and I've certainly seen posts where people have put UV tubes into vivs and reported that their Snows' vision has been impaired. So maybe Snows' eyes are more vulnerable to UV damage than the other morphs (kind of like putting a very fair person out in the midday sun without sunblock on). Anybody out there with direct experience of this?
