Refresh my memory about temps

the probe for my thermostat sits under the substrate, however the thermometer sits above it and it usually reads between 82-84...

i must be doing something right huh....
 
The temperature on the glass is what you don't want to let get too high. I try to keep mine at 86 or below, and I don't even measure the temp on the substrate (only on the glass).
