Remove Bad Eggs?

I have a clutch of 17 eggs, they all looked good when they were laid 08-29-04. I recently candeled a couple of eggs to be sure that they were fertile, and all of the eggs I checked appeared to have healthy vein growth. 15 of the eggs laid are in a large clump and two of them appear to have died. They are discolored and have some clear areas. My questions are as follows:

How can I tell for sure that the eggs are no good?

If there are in fact two bad eggs in the clump, should I remove them?, and if so how do I remove them without putting any healthy eggs at risk?

Any help is greatly appreciated as this is my first attempt at hatching a clutch of eggs.

Thanks in advance

Don't worry about removing them. They may still be okay. I had two slugs firmly attached to 3 good eggs and while the 2 slugs rotted away and grew mold and everything, the 3 good eggs attached to them were absolutely fine. It won't matter if you leave them there or not. As others have said, in some way or other, "you can't turn a good egg bad."
