Repticon treasures!

MegF.

That's for sale???
Got these two critters from my friend Tony. He let me have them and the cool part is they are completely tame! Never had a friendly Black Racer but this one never tried to bite even when I probed him. The Coachwhip is also a non biter...even when I probed her..They both will be welcome additions to my educational program! Both took their first f/t mice tonight without issue.

I find black racers all the time but they all want to eat you! I probed another one for someone and it chewed the hell out of my finger the whole time (not that I blame him). This one just said...well...okay. He had another larger coachwhip.....I held that for about an hour...I was in love :) Finally decided to take this one.....I've yet to find a live one here....

Awww, that coachwhip is so pretty! And I've never even heard of a tame black racer, most every one I've met has wanted to eat my face and gnaw on everything I hold dear for good measure.

Every time I go to Repticon I look for you, but I feel a little creepy squinting at nametags on the hot side. Mebbie I just keep going on the wrong day? I tend to go on Saturdays.

I'm there both days...you can't work just one if you have a table. I was in the corner by the back vendor entrance. I had a few Amazons for sale and we had the hots and the non venomous as well. We were catycorner to the guy with the leopard copperheads....
I've never found a tame racer either but it was still mellow today. I had to clean the cage already.....still had a bulge from the meal I fed yesterday. They are pretty cool animals. I LOVED the larger coachwhip he had but another guy bought it for his educational talks. Can't wait to show her and Ricky off to the kids!
