Just wanting some info about the repticon reptile expos are the worth the drive......about two hours away but i really want to go in two weeks to the expo in west palm beach

Well, you won't have to pay shipping, you can see what the reptiles look like in the 3-d world before making a purchase, you can ask a lot of questions and not have to keep checking back to get answers (real time discussion), you'll probably see a lot of critters you'd never or not very often see online, and generally have a good time. Sometimes I setup at Repticons, other times I go for the sake of going to see if there's anything I can't live without. There are also the frozen food vendors and bug sellers and generally some spiders and occasionally some warm blooded unusual pets there as well. I guess the best way to answer is to say Yes! Go! If you don't like it you don't have to go back. There's usually a load of baby cornsnakes later in the year, this time of year there seems to be more in the way of juvenile and adult corns.

I've been to 2 Repticon expos here in Idaho, so I doubt they will compare anywhere near to a Florida show but my friend and I had a good time, and that's where I picked up my 2 corns (from the same breeder, different times).

Thanks all ive only been here in florida a few months and now have five snakes in all but i really really want a pair of adult fires... The next expo in ft myers is july 20-21 and cant wait that long lol.... But i am wanting to go to the west palm beach expo

At the last one in Orlando there was a guy with (new, undamaged) 8 cu ft bags of aspen for $15.oo. There's always lots of accessories and housing options and add on products there. It can be a lot to absorb. A reason to get out of bed early and get in early before the 'good stuff' is gone. On Sundays after 3:30 generally, some sellers may be open to taking offers or haggling on the prices of whatever interests you.

The one in Phoenix was pretty small. But they're coming again next month, and I'll go, just for the sake of looking and learning. I'd say, if you've never been to one, go.
