Ok iwas at my local petstore jsut looking around and I asked a few questions about lights and UTH and i was directed to a stand with all the lights and there was a Guide for reptile lighting, I havn't read it all yet but it looks pretty good so i decided to see if i could find an online version, so here it is, (warining adobe reader required)http://www.hagen.com/canada/english/reptiles/index.html

I think oreo meant the Exo-Terra site...

And I got it to work fine...just had to refresh the PDF popup a couple of times to get it to kick in...
 
Oh, yeah...keep in mind that this "guide" is a marketing tool, an advertisement...these people wrote this to promote THEIR PRODUCT...

They will tell you what you "NEED" so that they can SELL it to you.

It does have some interesting information about light and light quality in general.
