Request for belly shots...

I'm just curious as to what role the genetic makeup of a particular snake plays in its belly pattern.

as in ... I know motleys express no or minimal belly markings (or checkers).

Can someone please post belly shots of different morphs and explain how they are determined genetically?

One thing you might try doing is to go to the American Cornsnake Registry "search the registry" page -- at http://cornguide.com/ACR/search.php -- and scroll down to "Search Phenotypes." Use the arrow button to scroll down, and you'll see several options you can choose -- Belly Plain, Belly Checkered, Belly Partially Checkered, Belly Other, Belly Unknown. When you search under any of those, you'll get a page with a list of registered snakes -- when you click on any of those, you'll get the snake's registration page, with photos and genotype.
