reverse okeetee?

well the pictures dont even look close to what it does in real life. it doesnt look like any other normal amels that i have seen. i ned to get a better camera.

Looks like a nice amel to me. Reverse Okeetee's have thick white borders around the saddles. Here's a pic of one of my amels for comparison.
"Starfire"

Yup, as stated, you have a typical amel.

There's a wide range with amels, from sunglow to reverse okeetee with thick white borders.

Here's mine, for comparison purposes with Mike's. See how mine doesn't have any white, and his does?

actually it does have thick white boarders. that is why i think it is a reverse okeetee. my camera sucks though, i'll try to take a better pic and then if you still think its an amel then i will agree.

Show Off!

well can regular amels have kinda thick white lines around the saddle part?

if so, then i guess its a normal one.

"Pretty thick?" In comparison to what? This has no meaning in a vacuum. "How much is a lot?" :shrugs:

You asked "is this a lot?" and everyone told you no.

Your amel doesn't look like a reverse Okeetee. Not sure what else to tell you. :wavey:

reverse oketee.
this one was bred 2004. The picture is a bit poor, but you can see the white around the saddles. The sides of the corn are white as well, with red saddles.

Is it just me, or does this look like more of a candy cane than a reverse okeetee?

The picture is really too blurry and small to tell. But I do know that there are some cool looking Rev Okeetees that have a whiter background as well as the white around the saddles. If you look on Don's site in his Rev Okeetee gallery he has some fantastic examples.

They look like "regular" amels to me...sorry!

It is possible for a regular amel to be "high white" (for lack of a better term). Here is a picture of an adult amel of mine that has a lot of white on her.

By the way, thanks for all of the compliments on the reverse okeetee I posted. Unfortunately, I do not own her anymore. I sent her to a friend of mine. I still regret that decision...
