My cage will be in a pretty well controlled temperature environment. I keep temp pretty consistent year round.
Is there a reason to prefer a rheostat or a thermostat for controlling my UTH? My initial thought is that although a thermostat is more "advanced" in some ways, by actively controlling the temperature, I'm thinking the rheostat might actually be better at getting a consistent temperature, while the thermostat might "hunt" more as it switches on and off.
Or maybe it doesn't matter and I'm overthinking it. I do that a lot.
