now I admit I haven't seen many corn snake breedings like some of you have...but this morning was the first time I've seen such foreplay! All kinds of undulating and he kept moving the bottom third of his body back and forth over hers, very slowly and rhythmically. Sometimes she'd raise her tail but I didn't see him actually insert. He kept undulating and moving his tail end from one side of her to the other, back and forth.

I sure hope they got to it after I left for work! They are both candy canes, she is red, he is orange.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? I'm used to the jerky dancing, and then the male "runs" up the length of the female and 'searches' with his tail. Nothing 'romantic' like I saw this morning! LOL
 
Some are lovers and some are fighters. My males seem to have different "styles", and even adjust according to the females. My Kings take hours to get together, stay joined for hours, and much biting is involved. Lucky girl. ;)
