I have an anery cornsnake that is unique from my others that should be the same type. I have been thinking it looks like a ghost and then I saw a young ruby-eyed ghost. It looks just like mine. What is a ruby-eyed ghost?

Thanks.

A ruby-eyed ghost is just what the name says it is...a ghost that has ruby colored eyes. You can also find ruby eyes in the lavender morph. The exact genetics behind it has yet to be determined.

This is a ruby-eyed hypolav.

Ruby Eyed Ghost

Befroe this year I thought that maybe there was Ultra in this guy, but i bred him to my Ultramel and got normals. Just a ruby eyed ghost, but I belive the geneitcs behind it have a lot to offer. I picked up the ruby eyed hypo at the same time from the same source.

Ruby eyed ghost

I'll have to look for more pictures or take another one. Believe me, his eyes are just as pink as when he was a hatchling.
