Ruby - first shed, new colours

Old and Getting Older
I love this snake!

Rubes had her first shed yesterday and wow! her salmon-pink saddles are now a deep red (almost dried blood colour) and in the first 5" or so she's developed an orange hue.

Love her to bits, and can't wait to see more changes.

Photos still make her look paler than she is.

By the way - those of you with experience of amels like Rubes - how might she end up? The same but bigger? Or will the white start to go or increase? Advice appreciated.

Cheers.

What a pretty girl Rubes is! I think as Ruby grows, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the development of her coloration.

My best friend has an amel that looked fairly similar to Ruby when he was a baby. Now, his saddles are vibrant deep red, lots of bright white background color and, and almost florescent orange spots - quite a beautiful snake. I'm sure Ruby will turn out every bit as gorgeous as my friend's amel. :)
