everything under the sun.
C: I toured the art school in Savannah, about a week ago and the person that reviewd my portfolio told me that I had a really good chance at receiving a scholarship. Im excited as hell, since I want to get into 2D animation - im not so fond of 3D - not only that but Cartoon Network recruits people from that school - so, hopefully in the near future Ill get to have my own show on Adult Swim.

AND I actually finished a few things for once:

Congrats on getting into the school. I wish I had artistic talent. My dad was VERY talented in all arts. Be it painting portraits, building, or music. He was very talented. Sadly none of us kids got his talent.
I so admire those that are creative. Thanks for sharing.

I am not sure what to think of SCAD. They are not well received in the arts community. Many think of the school as a "pay for the grades" sort of location and the few people I have talked to who graduation from them did not have the skills to get a job in the real world. I would consider doing some more research and looking into art schools that have a more rounded education and a better repution.
However...I think its great that you are pursuing a art school, your graphi like cartoons are very well done and you have a lot of potential as a great artist.

I myself went to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond VA, a school known for their medical and art programs and I majored in sculpture. But They have a great CA program that is recognised around the world, you should also look into them. The portland school of design is another great place to check out.

Just keep your options open and try to do some non-biased research into the schools. The brochures and websites can be very very one-sided.
