thought i'd share my results of several calls, emails, etc to my state senators concerning 373 - got a form letter from one of his staffers basically saying nothing - called local office and they were nice - put me on hold and called a senior staffer to senator mcconnell who is one of my reps in dc and as you probably know senate minority leader - the staffer called me back and said he would not make the senator's position known until it least made it's way to the floor - said he - the staffer had studied this bill and understood the opposition to be mostly media driven by the few negative incidents that had been televised - i made my points as advised by usark and he listened and said he would make the senator aware of my comments - went pretty good i thought??? -
