Hi :)

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a seven month old, male, "snow" corn snake whom we have named "Mouse." I'm hooked on corn snakes now, but just going to stick with the one snake until the economy impproves and I find a higher paying job...lol. But for now, one is plenty and we enjoy him very much!

I am going to try!! LOL

Someday I would like to get another one for sure. I can't decide what color/type to get yet, but I am guessing I have plenty of time with the way things are going now days. Who knows, I may even get a female and try the baby thing. I got a lot of reading to do! LOL

Hi there welcome! I'm new as well and am from Davis :D. Goodluck sticking to one corn, I'm going to try and do the same (for now haha).

LOL! Thanks for the welcomes. :) I guess it's a good incentive for working harder at finding a job with no furlough days!

Wecome KimberlyAnn! Like the others said, good luck trying to keep it down to 1 cornsnake. I started with 1 last October, now look at my signature!

I was looking at the sign of people...what does it mean when you say "1.2" cats. You have one and not even a half cat? LOL

Also, here are some pictures of our snake. They are from January and he has grown a lot since then! LOL I hope I post these right, I'm on my phone so who knows. lol

Well, then I have 1.0 Corn (Mouse) and 1.0 Cat (Tommy)

Although Mouse's name may change again because for some reason, we just can't settle on a name. I just call him Snake!

Thanks for posting that! Cleared up some other snake terms for me too! :)

Love your pictures, my fiancee just got a D90 with this amazing 300x lens and I can't wait to get a Corn and take some beautiful pictures! (while she's sleeping since it won't leave her hands haha)

Nice! I'm the same way with my camera...I take it EVERYWHERE with me. I have two lens which range from 18-200 and I am saving up for a stronger macro...or fisheye...not sure yet! LOL

Best way to take macro snake shots when they are still babies: Sit on the fabric you will photograph them on to warm it up, then warm them up in your hands...warm warm warm and cup your hand over them right when ypu set them down. Then you can move them where you want and quick! Cup them with your hand again! Then quick! Take the picture! You have about 5-10 seconds, so have a tripod set up to make it easy! LOL
