Sad thruth of snake trade

Loosely translated is: ghost Elaphe guttata guttata
cross-belt from very light parents of the original serpencoUSA’S line
photograph of the parents is possible
I think!!

Yup.

I just found it sad an animal should be sold on an 'ebay' sort of site. But this one regulairy makes tv news her of scams. Who buys a pet, then get's bored of it and sells it to the first person who makes a bid? And that person does not bother to buy it from a reliable breeder but just orders the cheapest one online :/ Just sad. It's original from Serpenco's stock.

whatever, you gotta do what you gotta do. its not like the snake is upset its being sold on ebay...relax

Jzal, Jicin is upset because many people buying and selling on that site may not know what they are doing when it comes to keeping snakes. She is a strong supporter of people selling their snakes to people they meet face to face--easier to tell if the person has the slightest clue about how to care for a snake. And, since the site has been on the news for scams and such, that makes it ten times worse. Sure, the snake doesn't care how it gets sold, but it cares how it is kept after it is sold.

Yup. I just hope the snake is luckey enough to get a good new owner. The previous ownser definately wasn't.

yea thats bs...just because something is sold on ebay doesnt mean that the old owner or new owner are incapable of caring for a snake well, or that they havent or wont. It means nothing. Its a great way to sell snakes that you cant keep for whatever reason. I just think its way too judgmental of anyone to condemn it unless they know the actual circumstances.

Nicely said Jzal8.. *cheers*

With that being said, Jicin did you know the owners that had the snake?

i think its everyones own business. if they buy the snake and made a good buy, good! if they fell for a scam, o well.....maybe they didn't know about faunaclassifieds.com, or whatever..ya know?? cant judge anyone...
