I have vended there before, its not really a good show for vendors that specialize in colubrids, so I doubt I will vend there again. (The WC guys do fairly well). What kind of corn are you interested in? I go to SA fairly often, and may go to the show, just prolly wont vend.

probably just an amel for my daughter, but not sure for my son. They both handle my new baby okeetee on an almost daily basis (except after feedings) and are very gentle with her. I'm sure I'll end up doing most of the husbandry, but I feel it will be a good experience for them.
I'm sure my son would like a sunkissed or bloodred or something else brightly colored.
I hadn't checked out the expo before, so I thought I would give it a look this time around.

I'll be going. My birthday is in March, and seeing as the expo is in the same month, well, put two and two together. Time to splurge.
I'll be the heavy-set guy with a black and gold yarmulke on his head. Say hey if you see me.

Oh dang I'm an idiot. Misread. I'l be there, but I won't be vending, at least not this year. Probably next. Oh well.

Tim Cole's show in Round Rock is MUCH better, and not full of the nasty, dirty, and (sometimnes SICK) WC animals. I'd suggest you wait for that one if you want the best chance at a perfect pet. The Live Oak show can be comparatively dirty, and some of the way the WC's look - and are treated - is rather upsetting. There are some good breeders that due that show and sell just CB stuff, but often the table is placed right next to half-dead, over-crowded, imports. I don't know about you, but that makes me a little uncomfortable.

Personally, I boycott shows that allow WC animals as much as I can...and I say that as both an attendee and a vendor. I wish more of us would do this - that is the only way to clean up more and more herp expos so they are something we are proud of the non-herper community seeing.

The one in Round Round is excellent, I went last year and there was a lot of corns and they looked really healthy. I picked up my Western Hognose at that show.

ah, kajun, I rep'ed you for that comment. I'm not 100% against wc, and in some cases there are reasons to do it. But doing it the wrong way - in mass, for easy profit, and not getting the animals all healthy and established first - is a disaster and not something I'd want to support.

(not that I could, BC doesn't have any reptile expos)
